I’m new to hiring a Hot Tub! How does this whole process work?

We try to make the whole process as easy as possible! Firstly, you need to check that you have the correct space needed for us to be able to roll the hot tub to it’s location and ample space for us to be able to sit the hot tub in your desired position. We need a minimum width of 32″ (81.3cm/813mm) to be able to roll the hot tub down any passage ways for example. The tubs are 6ft circular so we need to be able to turn the hot tub round any corners, so a 6ft clearance here is required. We then need a flat/level area roughly 7ft x 7ft (2m x 2m) to be able to safely situate the hot tub. Grass and decking is fine in most cases, but we prefer a solid patio area. Then, check what package you would like and once you have decided, click BOOK NOW on the package you’d like. Fill in the form on this page, here we ask for your full name, address, the dates you require and which package you’d like. There is then some check boxes to confirm you have the required access space. Click submit on the form, and we will receive your booking form. Within 24 hours (usually less) you will receive a response from us to confirm your dates are available, and a request for a deposit to confirm the booking. Once this payment is made, your booking is confirmed and you will hear from us shortly before your hire period is due to start with a form to sign, you just need to sign this form before we deliver and then once we have delivered, the final balance is required. We go through all the details you need to use the hot tub and get the best out of the tub, how and when to use the chemicals and a handy guide for you to refer to throughout your hire period. Upon collection, you don’t need to do anything! We turn up in your final day, drain the tub in around 15 minutes, whip the tub away and that’s it! Now… what are you waiting for? BOOK TODAY! 🙂

How much does it cost to heat the Hot Tub?

With the increased energy costs, there is the fear that running a hot tub is expensive! We have proven this to be untrue! The initial cost to heat the hot tub from cold is around £4-£5. After this initial period, to keep the spa up to it’s temperature, costs around £1.50 – £2.00 a day, so over a weekend (Thursday – Monday), you can expect your electricity bill to be around £15 for the entire weekend. Not so bad, is it? The hot tub’s run off a standard 13amp plug and you need to keep the hot tub plugged in 24/7. Turning the hot tub off at night will not save money as when you turn it back on, it will need more energy to get the tub back up to temperature. As the Hot Tub’s have a thermostat, when it drops below your set temperature, it simply gives it a quick heat to get it back to temperature, before going into low power mode again to save energy. The tubs all have a super thick and effective thermal cover which means the hot tubs barely lose any heat when not in use.

What kind of surface can the hot tub sit on?

We prefer or recommend a hard standing surface for the hot tub to be sat on such as a patio or well-built decking. However, it is possible to put the hot tub onto grass too, as long as it is a flat area. With gras, you can expect the grass to die back slightly depending on the length of your hire, however it quickly grows back to how it was before.

What space do I need to be able to get a Hot Tub into my chosen location?

You need a minimum of 32″ / 81.28cm / 812.8mm width at the narrowest part, height clearance of atleast 6ft and a turning point of 6ft for us to be able to roll the hot tub to your chosen location. Your chosen location must be a minimum of 7ft x 7ft to allow 1ft around the perimeter of the hot tub for access.

How long does the Hot Tub take to heat?

The Hot Tub can take up to 24 hours to heat up to your chosen temperature, depending on the temperature set, the outside temperature and a number of other factors. Usually you can expect the hot tub to be ready in 8-12 hours.

Do you hire out the inflatable or solid shell hot tubs?

We only deal with the best quality, British made SOLID shell hot tubs by RotoSpa! Not an inflatable one in sight!

What time do you make collections and/or deliveries?

We cannot give exact times of when we make our collection or deliveries but we always call beforehand to let you know we are en route. Our aim is to get all hot tubs out in the morning so you can get it heating as soon as possible. It all depends on how many bookings we have that day or where you are on our route. Please note that day 1 of your hire is your DELIVERY date, and the last day of your hire is the COLLECTION date. The days in between this are your USAGE days. We tell customers this, so they are not disappointed at what time we make our deliveries or collections.

Do I need to empty the Hot Tub for you before you come to collect?

No, you don’t need to do this! When we arrive we put in our submersible pump and drain the water out to the nearest drain, it takes us around 15 minutes to empty the Hot Tub, so you are still welcome to be in it when we arrive if you wish, but then you must get out! 😉 If you are not going to use the hot tub on the morning of your collection day, you are more than welcome to open to valve on the hot tub to drain the water out overnight. This does save us some valuable time.

How long does the Hot Tub take to fill??

The Hot Tub take roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully fill, depending on your water flow.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit to hire a Hot tub from us is £20 (£50 at xmas/new year). This amount is deducted from the final hire price you pay on the day of delivery. The deposit is non-refundable unless we have to cancel for any reason. If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your scheduled delivery date, we are able to use your deposit against a future booking. If we turn up and you don’t have the access we need as per our requirements, you will lose your deposit.

Do you deliver to my postcode?

You can check whether your postcode comes under our Free Delivery areas by visiting https://aspirehottubhire.co.uk/delivery-areas/. If your post code is not listed, please contact us as sometimes we are able to offer delivery at an extra cost!

Which Pizza Oven do you rent out?

Our Pizza Oven is the Ooni Koda 12 Gas Powered Pizza Oven. We use this as it is small, compact and really easy to set up and start cooking pretty much straight away! The Ooni Koda 12 takes up to a 12″ Pizza and reaches 500 degrees Celsius in about 15 minutes, cooking you delicious pizzas in 60 seconds!

Does the Pizza oven come with gas?

No, you would need to provide your own gas for the Pizza Oven. We are not insured for the transportation of gas in our vans.
